About this route
This easy circular walk starts at Col de la Forclaz and follows the historic Bisse du Trient, an irrigation channel that once supplied water to the lower valley. The route also uses a section of the former railway built to transport ice from the Trient Glacier. Broad forest paths and open mountain scenery make this a relaxed outing with little exposure. The gentle terrain is suitable for most walkers.
