About this route

Vom Berner Oberland auf einem alten Saumweg durch wasserfurchige Wiesen hinauf auf den Col du Sanetsch, den historischen Passübergang ins Wallis. Die Luftseilbahn Gsteig–Sanetsch verkürzt den Aufstieg um rund 850 Höhenmeter (ca. 2,5 Stunden). Entlang des Stausees Lac de Sénin sind leicht ausgesetzte Stellen mit Kettenhandlauf gesichert.
