Die Etappe verbindet Grimentz und Vercorin über die Westhänge des Val d’Anniviers. Nach dem steilen Aufstieg folgt eine lange Traverse über Orzival und Tracuit; über Sigeroulaz geht es anschliessend steil nach Vercorin hinunter.
