About this route

This long and varied panoramic circuit connects Zeneggen with Diebjen, Breitmatte, the Stand viewpoint, Moosalp and Törbel. The hike combines forests, alpine meadows, traditional villages and extensive views across the Valais mountains. Some sections can feel exposed and the route includes considerable elevation gain. It is intentionally rated higher than the other Zeneggen routes and should NOT be presented as one of the most fear-of-heights-friendly hikes. Fear of heights: 3/5 – Caution.
